About the Xiaomi logo
The Xiaomi logo is a white lowercase 'mi' set inside an orange (#FF6900) squircle, a square whose sides curve smoothly into its corners. The 2021 redesign by Japanese designer Kenya Hara kept the letters and the colour but softened the container from a sharp-cornered square to this rounder shape, which Hara linked to the idea of 'Alive'. The bold white letters sit low and wide inside the shape, keeping the icon readable on phones and packaging.
