Blue Grey Circle Quadrants
What catches our eye is how BMW's 2020 roundel drops the heavy black outline, leaving a light, open badge that still feels unmistakably BMW.

About the BMW logo
The BMW logo is a circular roundel split into four quadrants of blue (#0166B1) and white, set inside a thin grey ring that carries the letters B, M and W. The 2020 redesign flattened the badge, removing the 3D effects and the black outline around the roundel, so the mark sits lightly on any background. This version is used in BMW's brand communications rather than on the cars themselves. The blue and white quadrants echo the colours of Bavaria, BMW's home state, and the clean geometry keeps the roundel recognisable at any size.
