About the Mercedes-Benz logo
The Mercedes-Benz logo is the three-pointed star inside a ring, shown here as a flat black drawing. Three slim points reach from the centre to the ring, evenly spaced at 120 degrees, which gives the badge perfect balance. This flat version revives the 1969–1986 drawing of the star and returned to use in 2025. The three points are traditionally said to stand for motorisation on land, on water and in the air, and the ring holds them together as one badge.
