About the NBC logo
The NBC logo is the peacock: six rounded feathers in yellow, orange, red, purple, blue and green fan out above a small white body, each separated by a white outline. The update NBC phased in from 2022 made the colours brighter to match its Peacock streaming service and repositioned the feathers so they look more balanced. The peacock was first used in 1956 to promote colour broadcasting, which is why each feather carries a different hue.
