About the Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk logo
The mdr logo features a single, continuous white line drawn against a deep blue field (#0062ae). The form begins with a short horizontal bar on the left, then descends into a sharp diagonal before rising into two rounded, arching peaks. The strokes are uniform in width, creating a fluid, wave-like rhythm that suggests movement and connection. The design is minimalist, relying on the contrast between the smooth curves and the angular start to define its identity.
